Brooklyn Book Festival This Sunday
The Brooklyn Book Festival will take place this Sunday September 21st at Brooklyn Borough Hall. The Festival will run from 10am-6pm and includes a variety of events, including panels on subjects as diverse as the effects of policy on public space, genre, gender, faith in literature, autism, animals and many, many more.
Also scheduled are several readings, one of which will feature poets Mark Bibbins, author of They Don’t Kill You Because They’re Hungry, They Kill You Because They’re Full, Lucie Brock-Broido, author of Stay, Illusion, Cathy Linh Che, author of Split, and Tomasz Różycki, author of Colonies. This reading is titled “New Works,” as each poet will read from his or her most recent collection.
