Denver: Rexilius & Tucker at Gypsy House, E-Poetry: The Past, Present and Future of Electronic Poetry
Seth Brady Tucker and Andrea Rexilius read on Thursday, May 24, at 7:30pm for the Gypsy House Reading Series. Andrea Rexilius is the author of Half of What They Carried Flew Away (Letter Machine, 2012) and To Be Human Is To Be A Conversation (Rescue Press, 2011). Seth Brady Tucker is the author of Mormon Boy (Elixir Press, 2012).
Saturday, May 26, Counterpath hosts E-Poetry: The Past, Present and Future of Electronic Poetry, an electronic literature reading/performance and an exhibit featuring the work artists and poets working in the field of electronic literature. The event is sponsored by The Electronic Literature Organization and SpringGun Press. With readings by Amaranth Borsuk, Erin Costello/Aaron Angello, video/film poems by Kate Greenstreet, Joshua Marie Wilkinson, Ruth Ellen Kocher, Jeanne Liotta, Zuzana Husarova, Mark Banzhoff, early works of Elit presented on the computers for which they were written, and interactive computer stations where guests can experience a range of E-Poetry.
Exhibit at 7pm, Reading at 8pm.
