Fence Turns 30 and Welcomes New Editor


On Thursday June 25th, Fence will celebrate its thirtieth anniversary as well as the addition of a new editor.

Co-editing the magazine with current editor Rebecca Woolf will be Paul Legault, author of 2011’s The Other Poems from Fence Books. The celebration coincides with Legault’s thirtieth birthday; therefore, the purpose of the celebration is  multi-fold, as it will also recognize the release of the newest issue of the magazine.

Several contributors will be in attendance at the celebration, which will begin at 7:00pm at Babycastles at 137 West 14th Street in Manhattan.
