“Freedom” by Quintron and Miss Pussy Cat

This beat, these chords, these lyrics, and this live act help me when I’m down and not a sweaty mess of vaudevillian ecstasy. Sadly, this is often.

Lucky for us all we can refer to this as an example of how life should be lived; with an unabashed frivolity the punk straight edge goth theatre wican dance fanatics we all knew we could be emerged from their initial cocoon phase and seriously considered getting down.

This song makes me consider getting down a religion more than when I used to believe in babysitting dolphins riding motorcycles.

It’s a true break from reality I turn to at least once a month. And, if you have a chance to see their live show, well… you are one lucky mother fucker about to have a truly real experience.
