Kay Ryan Reads at The Noguchi Museum

The Noguchi Museum in Long Island City will host poet Kay Ryan on Monday November 2nd as part of the Noguchi Talks series.

Ryan will read from her latest collection Erratic Facts, and a discussion will be held on various forms of geology to which Ryan refers in her work. According to a recent press release, “‘erratic’ is a geological term of art for boulders carried and deposited by glaciers–in manners and places so surprising as to have helped give rise to science itself.”

Kay Ryan is a former Poet Laureate of the United States. She is also the recipient of a Pulitzer Prize.

Although the museum will be closed during the day, doors will open for this special event at 5:45 with the reading scheduled to begin at 6:30pm. Learn more about the reading and The Noguchi Museum here.
