Bookstores offered discounts, public spaces became places for impromptu poetry readings, and office co-workers of all varieties shared poetry with one another yesterday, as April 26th was National Poem in Your Pocket Day. As part of National Poetry Month, people all over carried a poem in their pocket to share with friends, family, and colleagues. Of course, City Lights did a Twitter round-up.
