Boulder: Briante & Matuk at CU
Tomorrow, Thursday May 3rd, at 7pm Susan Briante and Farid Matuk will read from their work at CU Boulder in the British and Irish Studies room of Norlin Library (5th Floor). These poets are not to be missed!
Susan Briante is the author of two full-length collections of poetry from Ahsahta Press, Pioneers in the Study of Motion (2007) and Utopia Minus (2011). Her writing has appeared in Ploughshares, Court Green, Painted Bride Quarterly, Creative Non-Fiction, and other journals. She is an Associate Professor of Writing and Literature at UT-Dallas.

Farid Matuk is the author of This Isa Nice Neighborhood (Letter Machine Editions, 2010) and the chapbooks Is It The King? (Effing Press, 2006) and Riverside (Longhouse, 2011). New poems have appeared
recently or are forthcoming in Third Coast, Mandorla, and other jounrals. This Isa Nice Neighborhood was a finalist for the Norma Farber First Book Prize, and received honorable mention in the 2011 Arab American Book Award.
