Gioia appointed to stamp selection committee

Postmaster General John Potter has appointed poet and former National Endowment for the Arts Chair Dana Gioia to the Citizen’s Stamp Advisory Committee, reports PR Newswire. The committee reviews stamp suggestions from 50,000 Americans annually and recommends 20 for final approval, according to the report.
