J.D. Salinger dies at age 91

The reclusive and brilliant American writer J.D. Salinger has died at age 91, reports the Washington Post. Salinger, the author of Nine Stories, The Catcher in the Rye and Franny and Zooey, among many other works, died peacefully in his home outside Cornish, NH on Wednesday, according to the Post.
