Forthcoming this month from Graywolf is Mary Jo Bang’s translation of Dante’s Inferno. Yesterday, BOMBLOG interviewed Bang regarding her translation, but they certainly aren’t the only ones discussing the anticipated update. The Brooklyn Rail has an article and positive review regarding the translation here. Earlier this week Circumference also posted this interview with Bang. Minn Post interviewed Bang this week, too. Tiferet inquires whether or not the translation impacted Bang’s thoughts regarding the afterlife in this interview.
