Rita Dove Wins China’s Poetry & People International Prize

On September 26th, Rita Dove was awarded China’s Poetry & People International Prize. Dove is the first American poet, as well as the first poet writing in English, to win the Chinese prize. She received the prize in Guangdong Province.
