Two Days Left to Help Omnidawn Reach Its Fundraising Goal

Two days remain in the Omnidawn fundraiser. As of December 28th, Omnidawn donations totaled $23, 295. The publishing house hopes to reach $35,000 by the new year.

According to Omnidawn’s website, an anonymous donor has agreed to match all donations up to $5,000 contributed prior to December 31st. The money will aid Omnidawn in producing its 2015 projects and help the press as it “expands [its] efforts to publish work that pushes the limits of convention with compassion and insight.”

In addition to its 2015 publication schedule, Omnidawn also provides services to its local community by:

• Providing direct publishing experience to students through internships with Omnidawn Publishing.
• Helping to support working artists/poets in the community through editorship and other press-related opportunities.
• Founding the OmniVerse Reading Series, which—like OmniVerse, our monthly online magazine—showcases new poetry and cross-genre work from the diverse poetic/creative arts community beyond Omnidawn’s own publications.
